I have a special interest in global gynecologic oncology and providing care to immigrant communities in the US. I am an active collaborator with the Guatemalan Cancer Institute on several studies, and I have participated in clinical work and research in Central and South America, Asia, and Africa. I have experience designing, coordinating, and monitoring public health programs in low- and middle-income countries. I am also the Medical Director of the Houston PAP Project, which provides cervical cancer screening and dysplasia treatment once monthly to the city’s urban, underserved, Hispanic population. I am so excited to be a Social Media Champion for IGCS 2024 and can’t wait to spread the word on all the exciting research in gynecologic cancers![/modal_popup_box]
