I am an active collaborator with the Guatemalan Cancer Institute on several studies, and I have participated in clinical work and research in Central and South America, Asia, and Africa. I have experience designing, coordinating, and monitoring public health programs in low- and middle-income countries. Born and raised in New York City and have been fortunate to have my medical training across different regions of the United States, including New York, Tennessee, and now Washington State. I am Peruvian-American and have been involved with medical missions in Peru during my medical training. My interest in women’s health began at an early age through my father, who is a general OB/GYN. As I became exposed to the subspecialty offerings within OB/GYN in residency, I became passionate about gynecologic oncology. My journey to this subspecialty has been unique and has allowed me to grow within this field through research, publications, and leadership positions. I am applying for the opportunity to become an ICGS Social Media Champion to provide comprehensive coverage and exposure of the ICGS Annual Global Meeting offerings to patients, the medical community, and beyond.[/modal_popup_box]
